So it’s official. The In the House Festival is 5 years old. We’ve made
it to kindergarten in one piece! But instead of making macaroni-covered
tin can pencil holders, we’ve compiled an amazing 2-CD box set that
includes 25 musical artists who have performed at In the House in the
past. The first CD features music from around the world. From Africa to
Asia, from India to Ireland, this CD will take you on a tour of the
globe you’ll never forget. The second CD is an exciting eclectic mix of
folk, bluegrass, hip hop, reggae, jazz, and singer/songwriting talent.
And of course there’s no better way to celebrate the release of the CD
and our coming of age than to come and party the night away to some
fabulous music. Several artists represented on the CD will be struttin’
their stuff and showing what they’re made of.
So come and paint the town red with us and let’s bring this CD into the
world in style! And just FYI, the 2-CD set is only $20 and they will
definitely be for sale at the launch. You can’t get much better than
that for such eclectic, interesting and inspiring CDs! Goodbye Putamayo,
hello In the House!
